Maya Nichole Drops Soulful Pop Ballad “Miles Away”

With looks to kill for and infectious charisma, singer-songwriter Maya Nichole has just dropped her latest single, “Miles Away”. The song is a soulful acoustic pop ballad showcasing Maya Nichole’s vocal and songwriting talent. Maya writes like she can hear the words people wish they could express and effortlessly evokes emotion with impressive vocal control and melodic sensibility.

The lyrics of “Miles Away” are from deep within and I hope you can feel some slight truth in that. We have all likely found ourselves in love’s tragedy at one point or another in the part of life-journey we call love,” says Maya, “In this time in my life, I felt “Miles Away” from this person, myself, and love. This song allowed me to express that. This song helped me heal, as music so effortlessly does.”

Maya Nichole is a captivating singer/songwriter who is touching hearts and turning industry heads with the release of her debut single Miles Away. After moving to Atlanta, GA the half-Jamaican & half-German songstress began to bring her vision to life while collaborating with her Creativ Bastard Ent. team. On her debut single release day (June 22, 2021) Maya Nichole held an invite-only exclusive live show in Atlanta for a room industry power-players. It was at that show that Maya told the audience she was inspired to write Miles Away by a lover who was far away both physically and emotionally. She delivers fearlessly vulnerable lyrics like “Love is a tragedy, Oh silly me, Just waiting here so patiently, won’t you come back to me” over finely tuned acoustic production by Anthony “Static” Taibi.
