Texas-based metal juggernaut The Crowned has unleashed their latest ferocious single, Set You Free, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Eddie Hermida (Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish). Known for their unrelenting intensity and dynamic blend of metal influences, the band amplifies the song’s impact with a cinematic music video inspired by the underground boxing scene in Snatch (2000), delivering an electrifying mix of visual storytelling and raw aggression.

Marc Coronado (Lead Vocals/Drums) explains the concept behind the video:
“For the hardcore movie buffs out there, the idea of this music video was a re-creation of the boxing match from the movie, ‘Snatch’ from the 2000s. The fight scene where ‘Mickey,’ played by Brad Pitt, was to take a fall in the ring for a fixed fight. You see the boxer fall through the ring as to be submerged under water to simulate losing the match and staying unconscious. Eventually, Mickey rises up and wins the fight, leading to a lot of angry gamblers who bet money on the rigged fight. You’ll see some subtle moments in the video like the intro to each person in the video and the infamous underwater scene in the music video. It was a lot of fun re-creating and capturing the fight to match the motions of the music.”
