With no time to lose, Dublin-based singer and songwriter Pio Hartnett is kicking off the new year with a brand new single, Roses.

An upbeat indie-folk track, Roses is about young love and romance, and the pursuit of a meaningful relationship in your twenties.

The track kicks off with a mix of vocals and guitar before violinist Neil Mather jumps into the mix. Roses then quickly transitions into a more upbeat tune with harmonisations, percussion and synths – delivering uplifting melodies and positive vibes in the near-four minute track.
